I use a naturalistic approach when providing speech and language therapy. Using this approach I follow your lead. When working with children, I use child-directed activities, where your child decides what games, toys or activities to play. During this playtime, I skillfully weave in speech and language goals. After all, children learn best when they play. As much as possible I also like to teach parents and caregivers how they can support their children at home.
When working with adults, you are in the driver’s seat. My goal is to impart as much of my knowledge as I can to you so that you can be the successful communicator that you want to be. I help you to identify strategies that work for you using real life communication situations in a supportive manner.
I have extensive training working with individuals who stutter of all ages and backgrounds and don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We work together to tailor your sessions to meet your needs.
I focus on the unique strengths of each individual and family I work with.
I will support you in making the changes you want to make. You get to be in the driver’s seat.
I am here to support you in empowering yourself.
